Following on from the 20/20 residency and commission, I wanted to develop works incorporating ceramics made during the residency period with textiles. The textiles used were a combination of fishing net debris and Indian fabrics from silk saris, highlighting environmental pollution and migration, specifically the journey of South Asian women across oceans.
